Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s weekly update came a little bit late this week, but it’s now available for fans to download across all platforms. As usual, the newCall of Duty: Modern Warfareupdate changes up the playlists available in the game’s multiplayer mode, with a new Cabin Fever playlist collecting some of the game’s smaller maps together alongside a variety of different game modes.
The new Cabin Fever playlist inCall of Duty: Modern Warfareis a clear nod to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and how people are isolating at home, though the artwork associated with it is reminiscent of theCabin Feverhorror film that was directed by Eli Roth back in 2002. In any case, the Cabin Fever playlist inCall of Duty: Modern Warfareshould prove to be pretty popular with fans, as it features some of the game’s most popular maps: Gun Runner, Hackney Yard, Rust, Shipment, andShoot House.

The game modes available in theCall of Duty: Modern WarfareCabin Fever playlist include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Headquarters, Kill Confirmed, andHardpoint. This should ensure plenty of variety, though it also means that players may be stuck playing modes they wouldn’t bother with otherwise.
The new Cabin Fever playlist isn’t the only new playlist that was added withModern WarfareUpdate 1.18. The update has also added an NVG Infected Multiplayer plyalist, which lets players play the popular Infected game mode in the dark. The twist is that zombie players can see in the dark, whereas the survivors have to rely on thermal sights and their night vision goggles, which have limited battery life.
Another new playlist added toCall of Duty: Modern Warfarewith Update 1.18 is the Khandor Hideout 24/7 playlist.Khandor Hideout is the latest new map added to theCall of Duty: Modern Warfarestandard multiplayer experience, and the 24/7 playlist will ensure that players can check it out without much hassle.
