Volcano Princessis a medieval-themed parenting simulator about raising and educating a daughter in pursuit of career and romantic success. When the player’s daughter turns twelve, she is recruited as a Knight and must choose between three Lords to pledge allegiance to.
These Lords represent the game’s three Knight Paths, and each one encourages players to build one of three major stats:Mind(academia and religion),Charisma(social and artistic skill) andStamina(combat and exploration). Each Knight Path has tasks to complete, with monetary rewards for each completed objective. Players will naturally gravitate to certain stats and activities,but carefully progressing in a suitable Knight Pathwill unlock Career Endings — and exclusive opportunities for the princess to seduce her chosen Lord. So which Knight Path is the most fulfilling, and how can players excel in each?
The Bryan Family Knight Path
Principal Claude Bryan
This Path prides itself on gaining knowledge, observing religion, practicing alchemy, and (oddly) catching horses. Led by serious-mindedPrincipal Claude, the Bryan Family Knight Path is largely focused on the Mind stat and Intelligence skill. As such, it can feel like hard, joyless work, which is reflected in-game by the daughter’s low Mood bar.
Tips for Early Gameplay
Save Action Points and gold,and avoid attempting Alchemy and Horse Catching until players have a Mind Stat of 10. Patient players who level up their Mind stats, build Intelligence skill, and collect Talent points for ‘Friend of Horses’ and ‘Master of Alchemy’will find it far easier to complete tasks on this Knight Path. WinningHorse Racing Sea Breeze Competitionis one of the highest achievements in this Knight Path. Similarly, players will need to have repaired 5 items using Alchemy to ascend above Level 2.
Advised Monthly Tasks
Many activities on the Map focus on building Stamina and Charisma, but there are opportunities to maximize Intelligence while exploring the Volcano Kingdom.Working at the Bath House as an Accountantprovidesdaily opportunities to gain Intelligence skillsand funds player’s Alchemy studies and Horse Racing competitions. The majority of Intelligence progression will come from studying Ritual and Literature courses. Players can also trade Fame points for tutoring at the Altar to boost studying progress.
Additionally, make it a habit toChallenge locals to Debates(especially against Kenneth and Sister) for rewards 2–3 times per day. Try not to neglect other skills like Sketching and Combat, as players are rewarded for a well-rounded skillset.

Romance and Career Endings
The player’s chosen Lord will have quarters in the Forgotten Valley, where players can visit to build affection. Claude is the least romantically inclined Lord, with a lacking character design and perfunctory dating style. During hangouts, Claude dislikes personal topics; when spending time with him, select conversations about laws, studying, and protecting monsters to succeed. If marrying Claude doesn’t thrill players, there arenumerous appealing and eligible suitors to pursuein the Volcano Kingdom that won’t affect completion of the Bryan Family Knight Path.
Maxing out this Knight Path will result inreligious, academic and judicial Career Endings.
The Royal Family Knight Path
Princess Gwyneth
Players who enjoy banquets, socializing,performing, painting, and musicwill thrive under this Charisma-driven Knight Path. Princess Gwyneth is everything typical of royalty: elegant and graceful with high standards of etiquette. And she expects the same from her knights.
Startsaving money for expensive clothes,especially on sale days. Players must purchase 5 items of clothing from the Costume shop (not including items that have been found or gifted).Wearing new perfume and dressesraises Charisma and affects dating success. Gain Charisma early so that players can work in the Bath House and perform in plays and avoid trading Fame Points for tutoring at the Altar.
Players mustperform over 20 times with 3 perfect performancesto complete this Knight Path. There is one opportunity to perform per month, so players will need high Charisma and Emotional skills to maximize plays to star in. Banquets give players opportunities to socialize to gain Charisma and rewards.
Debating and dueling is unnecessary with this path, so players can maximize socializing with Gwyneth and other locals. Action Points are best spent on painting, story time and games with Father to boost Imagination and Emotional skill. Harvesting and cooking certain recipes will produce Action Points, Imagination and other skills. Studyliterature, etiquette, painting, and musiccourses wherever possible.

Princess Gwyneth is hard to please, but responds to loyalty and respect. She often criticizes gifts unless they have cultural relevance, like the Volcano Goddess Sculpture or Marigold Light. She thrives on dates in the Royal Garden and appreciates kindness towards her brother Kenneth.
Career-wise, this Charisma-driven Knight Path unlocks artistic endings and romantic, social pursuits from Countess to Courtesan. Players who max out Gwyneth’s affection will trigger both the‘Volcano Queen’ Career and Gwyn Romantic Ending. Alternatively, romancing Gwyneth and Kenneth results in a‘Kite of the Royal Family’ ending.
The Handel Family Knight Path
Knight Lebsa
For players looking for the True Ending that will lead them to conquer the four realms inVolcano Princess, The Handel Knight Path is the most desirable. Bold, funny and colorful, Knight Lebsa is popular among gamers craving adventure and danger.
To progress past Level 3, players will need tocomplete 50 duels with localsin exchange for rewards. Start early, as players can only duel 2–3 times per month and may run out of time. The Martial Arts Contest at the Volcano Festival does not count. Focus on befriending Ze, Hackett, and Kenneth (who have Combat Levels 9+) and inviting these highly-trained fighters to explore together, giving players access to their damage-dealing attacks and defense. Where possible, gamble with Dice to earn money for weaponry that will boost Combat Attributes.

To complete this Knighthood, players mustconquer Hell Beach and defeat over 200 monsters.Combat inVolcano Princessis turn-based with an energy quota, where players can use inventory to restore health between battles. Balancing defensive moves with high-damage attacks allows players to defeat enemies, survive the next series of attacks, and progress deeper into the realms.
Monthly harvesting and cooking is necessary for producing Action Points, increasing strength, attack, defense and recovering HP. Players can win meat from battles with monsters, and fishing provides access to more ingredients.
Lebsa is laid-back, adverse to work, and thrill-seeking, making hangouts easy to navigate. Eventually, players will be summoned to aid Lord Lebsa, and find her bloodied and frenzied. This discovery reveals that Lebsa is wrestling with trauma from her past adventures, and appreciates being cared for despite her reckless unpredictability. After maxing out Lebsa’s affection bar, players will unlock the playful romantic ending with Lebsa.
The game’s True Ending is unlockedwhen the playerdefeats all four main bosses of the Realms of the Volcano Kingdom.This route is best facilitated by Lebsa’s Knight Path. If players do not defeat all bosses, their high Stamina stats and Strength will unlock military greatness in the form of Warriors and Hunters protecting the Volcano Kingdom.

The Unofficial Knight Path: Path of Darkness
There is no official Knight Path to choose for those who favor evil, butplayers can maximize Darknesson any Knight Path. Among the options available, selecting theHandel Knight Pathis more likely to enable accumulation of Darkness instead of the religious, low-fame Bryan Knight Path.
To increase their daughter’s Darkness level, players canignore pleas for advice and criticize her.The daughter can also promise herself to unsavory letter-writers to gain Darkness.
Monthly, players shouldwork at the Bath Houseas a Private Maid or worse to increase Darkness. Additionally, players will need to visit the Abandoned Harbor to Search the Dark Alley regularly, where players will battle numerous enemies. Winning players receive stolen items belonging to locals, which they can return for Fame and progress within the mysterious Paradise Society.
Every fight in the Dark Alley uses two Action Points, so it is important to enter the Dark Alley prepared. After paying the Mystery Man three times, players will be able to Steal once per month from a localfor an increased Darkness rating.
Career Endings
Exploring the Dark Alley a specific number of times will unlock small-time criminal endings includingCultist and Fraudster.To become a Mafia Boss, the player must receive a Paradise Society Badge and maintain a Darkness Level of 80. Conquering the Realms and meeting the Hell Beach Boss with a Darkness level of 100 will unlock theDemon Queen Ending.
